Mountain Bikers of all ages and skill levels will enjoy the many roads and trails the area has to offer. A few favorites are:
- Bear Creek Trail
Running along Bear Creek in Ellijay, GA, the trail runs through a beautiful forest on an old mining road, then uphill to the overlook where you will have a view worth the climb.

- Bull Mountain Trail
An old forest service road in the Dahlonega area, steep climbs, then downhill runs for the more experienced. directions
- Flat Creek Loop
The shady roadbed, outside Blue Ridge, closely follows a creek for a while, running alongside then in the water. Feels great on a hot summer day.

For the motor biking enthusiast there are miles and miles of roads where you can see the mountains with the wind blowing through your hair (or we should say, whistling past your helmet). The popularity of bikes from Harley's to BMW's. There are organized rides for fun and charity as well as free-wheeling weekends going wherever the road takes you. |
